Terrell is the largest city in Kaufman County. It is a historical community with a long, rich history of the railroad and a training area for British pilots during WWII. It has a municipal airport, vibrant industrial area, shopping, restaurants, residential subdivisions and it is close to Dallas. Kaufman county has two major lakes, Lake Ray Hubbard, (almost 23,000 acres) and Cedar Creek Lake, ( almost 34,000 acres). Both of these lakes are known for exceptional recreational lakes and good fishing lakes
I was born and raised in Terrell, Texas. My husband and I have 3 children and 1 grandchild. I love the friendly people and the small town atmosphere of Terrell. Prior to real estate, I was in Human Resource for 5 years. Attention to detail and customer service was paramount in my business. The experience I had with helping people has carried over to real estate. I have been a realtor with Lone Star Realty since May and I have my own office.
I have always been a simple, country girl. My likes are crafting, camping, and spending time with my family, especially my new granddaughter. I have a passion for designing and decorating homes and with a new grandbaby wanted to pursue something I loved but also have more flexible hours. I am a very dependable and extremely driven person. I will do what it takes to find you the right home to purchase or go beyond to help you sell your home.
Call me and let me provide you with the service you have always expected to receive. Let me be your personal real estate agent. I look forward to working with you and helping you with your real estate needs.
I was born in Dallas, Texas but grew up in Georgia in the small town of Avondale Estates just north of Atlanta. I later moved to Tennessee where I met my soulmate in 1999. In 2000, I married the love of my life and finally moved back to the Great State of Texas where my heart has always been.
I lived in the Cedar Creek area and commuted back and forth to Dallas for years. In 2009 we moved to Terrell, Texas to shorten my commute. Three months after I moved to Terrell to shorten my commute, I got a promotion that transferred me to Tyler, Texas. That is when I absolutely fell in love with East Texas. So much for the short commute.
My husband and I have 3 beautiful daughters, a grand daughter and two grandsons. My family is my life! We love to spend time in the great outdoors. We love swimming, fishing, boating, biking and just about anything you can imagine that is outdoors. We love to travel and cruising is my favorite.
I've been working as a tax professional for almost 30 years. I have worked in many different areas of the field and I do have to admit, I have been very successful at it. Success can be measured in many ways. I do not measure success just by money or prestige, that is just a by-product of success. I consider myself to be successful if I have made someone's life a little bit better by interacting with them, helping them to solve their problem. This is one of the reasons why I became a real estate agent. I really like helping people with the uncertainty of purchasing a home for the first time. Helping a couple with purchasing a new home because your family has grown and they needed more room. Helping someone who is trying to downsize and now they need to sell their home and find something that is just easier to live in. All of these can feel very stressful whether the person is selling or buying. I want to be that person who can help either party through their real estate transaction. To me, there is nothing more satisfying than helping someone through the process and see the peace and joy that it brings to them when everything has been completed. I look forward to guiding you through your next real estate transaction. I will work tirelessly for you to insure everything goes as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
